Please click here for a chance to win a 2-day ticket for the Big Stamp & Scrapbooking Show at Alexandra Palace 20-21 September

Please click here to see the winner of CHNC challenge extra for July 2014.
It's worth checking because it might be you!

This challenge will last for the whole month of August- anything goes as long as it's Christmas - it doesn't have to be a card, you can link any project as long as it's Christmas!

It's difficult to believe that we are already entering the eighth month of the year. If you haven't yet started your Christmas cards - and I know that many of you have because you have been sharing your wonderful festive crafting here last month and the previous months - please join in the fun - you will be pleased in a couple of months time when we get nearer to the time when panic tends to set in.

Once again this year, all of these monthly challenges are being generously sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps - a winner will be randomly chosen using random.

Bugaboo Stamps are proud to sponsor this challenge - they are offering $21 of digital stamps to the randomly selected winner.

Everything That You Ever Wanted to Know About Bugaboo Stamps: A Short Essay
As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing!  From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects.  Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!
If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps   at Totally Stampalicious. And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT   for weekly challenges at Catch the Bug

Having had a Design Team call at the end of 2013, the invitation was given to seven crafters to join me for a six month period ... how that six months has gone quickly! I invited these lovely designers to stay on for another six months. Sadly, Deanne is not in a position to continue with us. Thank you, Deanne, for all your inspiration and support - I know that we'll see you around in blogland and, hopefully, you'll be entering some of your Christmas designs into the challenges here.

I'm pleased to see that the rest of the team have taken up the offer to stay on for another six months.

Here is the lovely inspiration from the Design Team

All digital stamps used were kindly supplied by our sponsor, Bugaboo Stamps

Once again this month the team have made gorgeous creations - please click on the links to their blogs to read more about their projects. All images used were kindly supplied by Bugaboo Stamps.
Every month I am joined by a Guest Designer and for August I am thrilled to welcome Susan Renshaw  - please click on the link to visit her blog and leave her some comments.

Susan says on her blog:

'During July, August and September I will be travelling - first to Australia, then the UK. My craft room in Mumbai, India, is tidy!!

You will still see posts on my blog as I have many scheduled during the Summer months - and I hope to make a few things while I am away. My daughter keeps a mini-stash for me at her place - and of course there are all the craft shops I can visit while I am away!!'

This is the lovely card that Susan made using Bugaboo's Gertrude tinsel in a tangle - you can read more about it here on her blog:

You may add any Christmas creation for this challenge -
it's 'anything goes' every month, as long as it's Christmas

There really aren't any rules as such - just have a look at what I've written on the right hand sidebar and join in! You may link as many entries as you like as long as they weren't blogged before 1 August 2014.

Weekly challenges continue on my CHNC challenge blog - these usually have a theme - but anything that you enter there can be entered here as well, so you increase your chance of winning a prize.

And, of course, you can chat about this monthly challenge extra blog on the CHNC facebook page as well - if you haven't joined that yet, please follow the link and 'like' the page.

I look forward to seeing all your Christmas creations - the more you make now the easier life will be when it gets towards November and December - it makes sense!

I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge - please add a link to your blog post (not your blog, but the actual URLwhere your card can be found) by 20:00 UK time 31 August.  Please mention my blog and create a link within the post for your creation. The winner will be announced at 23:00 UK  time on 31 August. September's challenge will begin at midnight UK time on 1 September.

Please add your link to inlinkz. If by any chance it disappears, please leave a comment with the link to your blog post and I will make sure it is added.

If you haven't done so already, please become a follower and grab my bright pink button to post on your sidebar and help continue to spread the word about this challenge blog - thank you.

At the beginning of the year I started a new challenge called Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge - anything goes as long as you cover your creation with patterned paper - a randomly chosen prize winner every month. Please click on the link to find out more. If you have used patterned paper in this way for your Christmas card, why not enter it there too. And please be aware that the new Patterned Paper Challenge is not restricted to Christmas - it is for any occasions.
