CHNC challenge extra for April

Please click here to see the winner of CHNC challenge extra for March

This challenge will last for the whole month of April - anything goes as long as it's Christmas

All of these monthly challenges are being generously sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps - a winner will be randomly chosen using random.org.

Bugaboo Stamps are proud to sponsor this challenge - they are offering $21 of digital stamps to the randomly selected winner.

Everything That You Ever Wanted to Know About Bugaboo Stamps: A Short Essay
As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing!  From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects.  Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!
If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps   at Totally Stampalicious. And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT   for weekly challenges at Catch the Bug

Every month I will be joined by a Guest Designer and for April I am pleased to welcome Helen.

Helen writes: 'I'm an addicted cardmaker and I love stamping and using Promarkers. I've been making cards for many years and am lucky enough to be on the Design Teams for Little Claire, Pink Gem, Card Creations Plus and Nutcrafters as well as being part of the team on three challenge blogs. I work as an Activities Coordinator for my local Abbeyfield Society covering a residential home and two sheltered housing blocks. At weekends I also teach workshops for Little Claire. A big thank you to Hazel for letting me be part of the challenge for this month!'

Helen's first card uses the 'Deacon Christmas - elf presents' kindly supplied by Bugaboo Stamps:

For her second card, Helen used A'VA Christmas - candy cane', another image from Bugaboo Stamps.

Thank you, Helen, for joining me as a guest with these lovely cards. Please visit Helen's blog here and leave her some comments.

Another card from Helen - you can see it on her blog here:

Two more lovely cards from Helen - you can read about them on Helen's blog here:

For my first card I've used the 'winter birds skate' image from Bugaboo Stamps (although I decided to cut him out so he no longer has his skates - lol!). The background papers I've used are from the digi papers 'frosty', also supplied by Bugaboo Stamps.

For my second card I used 'little penguin winter skate', another Bugaboo image, with papers from 'purple blue winter' with apologies to Bugaboo that one of my printer inks colour was running low and so purple printed out as pink! (but I rather liked it so decided to stick with it rather than waste the card):

And these are the cards I made for my CHNC challenge 118 (closed now):

And this is my card for CHNC challenge 119 (closed now)

And another you can read about here:

This is my card for CHNC challenge 120: wonderful wings (closed now):

Here are three cards made for my CHNC challenge 121 (closed now)

Every month I will be joined by a Guest Designer and for March I am pleased to welcome Mel:

Hello my name is Mel(anie). I'm a 32 year old mum to 5 girls from the beautiful north of germany.Married to the love of my life who is actually from the Uk and who I could inspire of being creative himself as well .

I have been creative all my life. Been trying all sorts of things...silk painting, candle making, painting, woodcarving, polymer clay , sewing and of course my biggest love PAPERCRAFTS. I love my stamps and trying new techniques but spare time is rare as I not only have a big family but aswell my own business.

But still...letting my self go in creativity is my way of relaxing and sometimes I craft through the night and forget to sleep.

I feel very honoured to be Hazels Guest Designer for march and hope you like what I have created for you.

I would love if you would pop by on my Blog: http://mel-alittlesomething.blogspot.de/ or even take part on my own challenge Blog: http://creativecornerchallenges.blogspot.de/

Please visit Mel's blog and leave her a comment.

Mel has produced four cards using images that were kindly supplied by Bugaboo - this first card uses 'JJ Christmas cheers':

For her second card, Mel has used 'make it snappy reindeer trio':

The third card depicts the delightful 'winter birds skate':

And for the fourth card Mel has used 'sassy gal Christmas':

For my first card I've used the Bugaboo image 'skates' to make a CAS card - more details on My Crafty Outlook here.

Thought it was about time to share some of my other Christmas cards I've made since then (meant to add them much earlier):

Every month I will be joined by a Guest Designer and for February I am pleased to welcome Carla Prediger:

Carla writes:

'I'm from Brazil and live in the northeast of the country with my husband Nelson and our son who is getting married next year. I have been crafting since I was 5 years old. And with papercrafts for more than 25 years now. I started with parchment craft and must say it was my first love on papercrafts. Later I started to try out many other techniques like paper embroidery, quilling, tea-bag-folding, dry embossing, rubber stamp, scrapbooking.... I'm always ready to try out something new. Papercrafts for me is not only a hobby, is a kind of life style and my business as I have my own line of patterns( parchment, paper embroidery and quilling) and my own line of quilling papers. I also give card making and scrapbooking classes once a month.'

Carla and I were supplied with Bugaboo images to use and for this card Carla used 'tag - Santa's reindeer'  - you can read more about Carla's card on her blog here - please visit and leave her a comment.

For my cards I've used Bugaboo 'angel' - you can read more about it here on My Crafty Outlook:

Thought I'd add cards that I've made since launching this challenge. On 2 February I shared these cards for my CHNC challenge 110:

And today (9 February) I've shown this card for my CHNC challenge 111 - you can enter this until 22:00 UK time on 15 February as long as you don't show any snow - click on the challenge for the details - and please join in if you can.
