CHNC challenge extra for December mid-month inspiration

Now that we are half way through December, there isn't much more time to make Christmas creations, but, perhaps like me, you still have some cards to make (despite making them throughout the year). It's time for some mid-month inspiration from the team. We would love you to join in our December challenge here.

CHNC challenge extra for December 2015

Christmas celebrations will be over by the time this challenge has ended - that doesn't seem possible, does it? I expect many crafters have still got creations that need to be made and I hope you will link and share them with us here. Or perhaps you made some creations earlier on, but didn't get round to showing them.

We wish you all a very Happy Christmas

DT call
Our current DT signed up for six months till December 2015, but I'm pleased to say that most will be staying on for the next six months from January through to June 2016. At least one will sadly be leaving, so I will be looking for at least one crafter to join us on the Design Team for January to June 2016. If you would like to be considered, please put DT after your name when you link your design - you only need to do this once, please. This will be a commitment to make at least one Christmas design each month using a Bugaboo Stamps image, with the option of supplying any festive design for mid-month. Another important part of the commitment is to be able to comment on an allocated number of entries - as regulars will know, we do have a lot of entries, so, please, only apply if you are willing and able to make the commitment to comment.

The DT call will be closed by 10 December to enable those chosen to be prepared to be ready with their designs for the January challenge. Don't forget, just add DT after your name for your linky entry if you wish to be considered.

It's worth looking because it might be you!

This challenge will last for the whole month of December 2015 - anything goes as long as it's Christmas - it doesn't have to be a card, you can link any project as long as it's Christmas!

Once again this year, all of these monthly challenges are being generously sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps - a winner will be randomly chosen using random.

Bugaboo Stamps are proud to sponsor this challenge - they are offering $21 of digital stamps to the randomly selected winner.

Everything That You Ever Wanted to Know About Bugaboo Stamps: A Short Essay
As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing!  From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects.  Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!
If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps   at Totally Stampalicious. And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT for weekly challenges at Catch the Bug

Introducing 3 new Design Team members

Before going any further, I'm so happy to introduce 3 new team members:

Marg Byatt

Hiya, my name is Margaret but I do prefer to be called Marg and I'm 54 years old. Ive been crafting for most of my life. I have 2 daughters, the eldest is married & lives a few miles away. She's given me a fab son-in-law and two gorgeous grandsons. My youngest daughter is 18 and studying hard at college, in her 3rd year of Art & Design.

I am quite severely disabled but I craft to keep my hands and mind occupied and it works lol. I love digi stamps but I also like rubber stamps. I have no special artist that I prefer and I have no special style of design. My serious card making/papercraft/upcycling came into effect almost 6 years ago and I've not looked back. I am honoured to be invited to join Hazel and all the other DT members of this fabulous challenge blog.

Monica Poo:

My name is Monica and I live in Italy. I graduated in English literature a long ago and, after working in a big Company for years, I decided to become a stay-at-home-mom. After years of painting, back in 2008 I tried with papercrafts and stamps and I’ve never looked back! I first used watercolour pencils because Copics were not available in my town but now they are my favourite coloring medium. I'm so happy to be on the team here at CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra!

I have been a crafter all my life - I enjoy all sorts of crafts but my current passion is paper crafting. At the moment I live in the UK but for the previous 17 years I have been an expat, living in Australia, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and India. Whilst overseas I always managed to find friends who also wanted to craft! Now back in England I spend a lot of time in my craft room. I like to play with different techniques, making both mainstream items and more left of centre projects. I use a lot of digi images but also like getting inky…and I love different folds, ATCs and fat pages! My intention every year is to make all my Christmas cards before I get to November – and every year I run late! I am hoping to catch up this year soon!!
